Frog Lyrics

Hopping through the rain forest
Escaping the fire like all the rest
Trying to keep my species alive
Looking for lilies and tasty fliesMy legs are pumping as fast as they need to
My legs are drying as quick as glue
I look at the sun for one of my kind
I am a frog and I have a mindYou sold me out, you sold me out
Yeah, I was a frog and now I am a songLess and less of us everyday
The humans have screwed us the human way
Trees are falling without a sound
Into a river where they drownYou sold me out, you sold me out
Yeah, I was a frog and now I am a songAnd I'm running just to be
Yeah, I'm hoping you'll kiss me
I used to be aliveLess and less of us everyday
The humans screwed the human way
Trees are falling without a sound
Into a river where they drownYou sold me out, you sold me out
Yeah, I was a frog and now I am a song

artichoke is best known for 2 concept records about scientists, one for every letter of the alphabet, called "26 scientists, volume one: anning - malthus" and "26 scientists, volume two: newton - zeno." the first of those was written about in the new york times science section when it was released in 2005. artichoke is currently looking for a label to release the second one, which is all finished and mighty groovy -- according to the few who have heard it.
