Get Out Alive Lyrics

Well, you were just about ready to give me away
Just about ready to sell me out
Now I know and now you know I don't care
And now you know I don't careI was just about ready to cause a scene
Just about ready but you know me
Now you know and now you know I don't care
Now you know, I don't care'Cause you can run and you can hide
But you will never make it out alive
'Cause there's only one way out of here
There is only one way out of hereWell, you were just about ready to call it a night
Just about ready, now that ain't right
Now you know but now you know I don't careAnd I was just about ready to let you go
Just about ready to steal this show
Now you know now you know I don't care
And now you know I don't careAnd you can run and you can hide
But you will never make it out alive
'Cause there's only one way out of hereYou can run and you can hide
But you will never make it out alive

'Cause there's only one way out of here
There is only one way out of here
Yeah, there is only one way out of hereBack out, yeahYeah, you can run and you can hide
But you will never make it out alive
'Cause there's only one way out of hereYeah, you can run and you can hide
But you will never make it out alive
'Cause there's only one way out of here
'Cause there's only one way out of here
Yeah, there's only one way out of hereI was just about ready to cause a scene
Just about ready but you know me
Now you know, now you know I don't care

Socialburn originated in the mid-'90s around high-school pals Neil Alday (vocals/guitar), Dusty Price (bass), and Brandon Bittner (drums). After forming on the fly in their tiny central Florida hometown, the group expanded into the scene in nearby Tallahassee. Listeners took a liking to their straightforward post-grunge growl, and Socialburn was soon a hit at local radio. By 2000, guitarist Chris Cobb had been added and a self-released CD had dropped. SB branched out with gigs in Jacksonville and Orlando, hoping to generate label interest in an area already buzzing with the success of Creed.
