Go Upstairs Lyrics

Go upstairs, take off your clothes
I've got something for you tonight
Lit the candles, put down the shades
Gonna make you feel alright
Baby, I've been burning up
Longin' for you within
It seems like it's been so long
I couldn't wait to see you again
You had the longest day
For whatever reason, I, I understand
So let's kiss and let's hug
And let's touch like only we can
Go upstairs, take off your clothes
I've got something for you tonight
Lit the candles, put down the shades
Gonna make you feel alright
There'll be no interruptions
We've got the whole place to ourselves

And if there's something's on your mind
Want you to tell me and no one else
'Cause right now
I wanna be the only person on your mind
So let's kiss and let's hug
And let's touch like only we can, baby
Go upstairs, take off your clothes
I've got something for you tonight
Lit the candles, put down the shades
Gonna make you feel alright
Go upstairs, take off your clothes
I've got something for you tonight
Lit the candles, put down the shades
Gonna make you feel alright
'Cause right now
I wanna be the only person on your mind
So let's kiss and let's hug
And let's touch like only we can
Go upstairs, take off your clothes
I've got something for you tonight
Lit the candles, put down the shades
Gonna make you feel alright
Go upstairs, take off your clothes
I've got something for you tonight
Lit the candles, put down the shades
Gonna make you feel alright
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Go upstairs, yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Go upstairs, take off your clothes
I've got something for you tonight
Lit the candles, put down the shades
Gonna make you feel alright
Go upstairs, take off your clothes
I've got something for you tonight

Soul Mekanik brothers Danny Spencer and Kelvin Andrews are house music legends. Subscribing to the theory that in the beginning house music belonged to those who were a little bit twisted, their musical careers, both individually and collectively, have been characterised by a series of delightfully deviant acts. Danny produced his debut single during the birth of acid house in 1988 with his classic 'Ride the Rhythm' under the name of This Ain't Chicago.
