DAX2 is a solo project of JW van Middelkoop. As a multi-instrumentalist and progressive rock aficionado he started recording his own material in the mid-nineties, strongly influenced by bands like Pink Floyd, Genesis, Marillion, Yes and the like. Inspired by guitar heroes David Gilmour, Steve Hackett and Eric Clapton he's always looking for melody and harmony,inviting his audience for a journey through his atmospheric musical landscapes.
