Good Golly Miss Molly Lyrics

Good Golly Miss Molly, sure like to ball
Good Golly, Miss Molly, sure like to ball
When you're rockin' and a rollin', can't hear your momma callFrom the early early mornin' till the early early night
You can see Miss Molly rockin' at the house of blue lightsThe good Golly, Miss Molly, sure like to ball
When you're rockin' and a rollin', can't hear your momma callWell, momma, poppa told me, "Son, you better watch your step"
If I knew my momma, poppa, have to watch my dad myselfThe good Golly, Miss Molly, sure like to ball
When you're rockin' and a rollin', can't hear your momma call.I am going to the corner, gonna buy a diamond ring
Would you pardon me if it's a nineteen carat golden thingGood Golly, Miss Molly, sure like to ball
When you're rockin' and a rollin', can't hear your momma callGood Golly, Miss Molly, sure like to ball
Good Golly, Miss Molly, sure like to ball
When you're rockin' and a rollin', can't hear your momma call

The Swinging Blue Jeans are a five-piece 60s British merseybeat band, best known for their proto-rave-up hit single "Hippy Hippy Shake" (also known as "The Hippy Hippy Shake"). Intriguingly, while the song sounds rather Beatles-clone like, the Beatles did in fact do a cover version of this song for the BBC. The Swinging Blue Jeans had a spell of moderate success, breaking into the U.S. with the aforementioned hit but also charting again and again in the U.K.
