Grain Of Salt Lyrics

Yeah, when I came to you were standing by the foot of the bed
I was still hung over and my eyes were bloodshot and redDid you think that things were gonna be different?
Did you think you tore my whole world apart?
But as you can see theres no pain in my head
And down in this old broken heartI took your leaving with a grain of salt
Tequila and a slice of lime
Yeah, the minute you left, me and them boys
Went out and had a real good timeIts nice of you to check up on me
Just to see how I was getting along
But I'd already gotten over it baby
'Fore you were even goneBy now you've observed
I was a little over-served last night
I need to catch a few Zs
Baby, please turn off that bedroom lightSee the boys are coming by to get me
Were gonna take our little show into town
Ill need my rest 'cause theyll be doing their best
To find another juke joint downI took your leaving with a grain of salt
Tequila and a slice of lime

Yeah, the minute you left, me and them boys
Went out and had a real good timeIts nice of you to check up on me
Just to see how I was getting along
But I'd already gotten over it baby
'Fore you were even goneYeah, I had already gotten way over it baby
'Fore you were even gone, gone
Bye now

There are many artists/bands known by the name of Jupiter: 1. Jupiter are ‘q. & a.’ (boy and girl!) from Paris. Jupiter deliver vintage-flavored lazer-disco songs that would be on heavy rotation on every radio station in a better world. The two members of Jupiter met on a dancefloor cleared by a slightly too retro hit. Their shared passion for a time tainted by glitter and care-free music drove them to bond together and write music halfway between “Thank God It’s Friday” and “Purple Rain”. They first gained attention following official remixes for Anoraak, Metronomy and Two Door Cinema Club.
