Grand Canyon Lyrics

Theres a space in between us
Things just arent, they arent the same
In your heart theres an aching
And you cant see through the painI would run to your rescue
But you won't call out my nameSo Im reaching across the Grand Canyon
Hoping you will take my hand
And wondering why youre just not listening
So for the time being Ill just keep on reaching for youTheres a thorn youve been holding
And you cant, you cant let it go
I wish that I could stop the bleeding
But you wont, you wont let it showAnd I cant wrestle with your demons
If you never let me see themSo Im reaching across the Grand Canyon
Hoping you will take my hand
And wondering why youre just not listening
So for the time being Ill just keep on reaching for youTo come back to your senses again
And hear me calling, calling, callingTherell come a day, well be together
And all your tears will be wiped away
And on that day, Ill hold you so tightly

And all this pain will just melt awayIm reaching across the Grand Canyon
Hoping you will take my hand
Wondering why youre just not listening
So for the time being Ill just keep on holding outAnd reaching across the Grand Canyon
Hoping you will take my hand
And wondering why youre just not listening
So for the time being Ill just keep on reaching
For the time being Ill just keep on reaching for you
