Groupie - Groupie

Hamburg band created in 1998 by actor and song writer Thomas Esser (voc, git, tp). Initially a quartett with Jan Exner (git), Henning Wörner (b) and Tim Weiland (dr).
After the mysterious death of Tim Weilands in Berlin in 1999, Stef Möhle joined the band..
In this time Tobias Vethake (synth, cello, voc) also joined . In the same year "groupie" signed a contract with the Hannover Label Enola Records (a WEA-subsidiary) and record their Debüt-Longplayer "minigolfen" (produziert by Marcus Wichary), released in April 2000.
