Father of better-known Amsterdam alto sax star Candy Dulfer, Hans Dulfer uses his sax surprisingly well as the lead instrument for energetic, pulsating music that fuses hip-hop, trip-hop, jazz, punk, metal, hard rock and techno.
Yet it's one of music's greatest ironies that it is "Pappa" Dulfer who is rocking the mosh pit while his daughter Candy produces safe, down-tempo modern jazz.
