Gum Lyrics

Chewin' Chewin', Chewin' my gum. Chewin' Chewin', Chewin' my gum. I
didn't know that it could be so much fun, to spend my life just
chewin' gum. Chewin' Chewin', Chewin' my gum.
I
say it is a natural obsession, in fact it's on my very posession. So
super fruity, you're makin' me chew. I'm so glad that I found you
underneath the stool. With all the gum that passes my way, in my mouth
you will always stay. I
vow to stick with you through thick and thin,
even though the cavities are starting to set in.
Chewin' Chewin', Chewin' my gum. Chewin' Chewin', Chewin' my gum. I
didn't know that it could be so much fun, to spend my life just
chewin' gum. Chewin' Chewin', Chewin' my gum.
My friends say that it will never last, said soon your flavor will be
a thing of the past. But I don't listen to a wordt hey say because I
know that you were the best part of my day. With all the gum that
passes my way, in my mouth you will always stay. I vow to stick with
you through thick and thin, even though the cavities are startin' to

set in.
Chewin' Chewin', Chewin' my gum. Chewin' Chewin', Chewin' my gum. I
didn't know that it could be so much fun, to spend my life just
chewin' gum. Chewin' Chewin', Chewin' my gum.

Logan Whitehurst (November 15, 1977 – December 3, 2006), was the drummer for the Northern California band Little Tin Frog from 1995 until 2000. He also played keyboards on the Headboard CD "The End Is Near," and performed live with the group on numerous occasions from 1996 to 1997. In 2000, he continued on as a founding member of The Velvet Teen, for which he is best known.

A modern day musical army consisting of one man and his plastic lawn snowman Vanilla, the Junior Science Club recalled the electronic rock of They Might Be Giants and the odd and witty lyricism of Randy Newman and Danny Elfman. With songs immortalizing noodles, nuclear reactions, robots, lizards, and the standard metric system, the Junior Science Club defied the trappings of novelty music through inventive, layered instrumentation and complex arrangements. He has also designed numerous album covers for bands such as his sister's band Tsunami Bomb and Dynamite Boy, in addition to The Velvet Teen and Fearless Records.

Through much of 2004 he had been battling a mysterious illness. In May, 2005 it was discovered that the ailments he was suffering were due to a cancerous brain tumor. Deciding to focus on his recovery, he left The Velvet Teen. He spent the better part of a year and a half going through numerous treatments for the recurring brain cancer. On December 3, 2006, Logan Whitehurst succumbed to a long battle with the illness and died at his home in Los Banos, surrounded by his family.

On December 4, 2006, Logan's sister, Emily announced on Logan's Myspace that his Very Tiny Songs project would be released in the near future. It was released on December 26. Read more on Last.fm.
