American Astronaut refers to two musicians. Cory McAbee, the writer/director of the global underground hit film THE AMERICAN ASTRONAUT, and his band comprised of former members of West Coast cult faves The Billy Nayer Show, NYC’s Distortion and Morphine. GOODBYE CALIFORNIA is their 4 song debut EP, produced by Karl Derfler (Tom Waits, No Doubt, Roky Erikson) and AA drummer Bobby Lurie at the band’s Mavericks Studio in NYC.
