Hands Off Lyrics

So what if doing something real bad is the only way to get it
So what if its a bad idea, later I'll regret it.
I'll take whatever comes with doing what I want when I want it
And hope whatever comes doesn't know I sting like a hornet..
I'm about to do something that
I don't wanna do
Ready to do anything
To make this clear to you
You better get your hands off
Before you get them both cut off
Make the wrong move
And get your lights put out
Get your hands off
Before you get them both cut off
Make the wrong move
And get your lights put out
I know what your thinking, I know what you're sayin
I know that you're hoping that I am, but I ain't playin

I'll do what I gotta do just to keep me movin
And hope whatever does what its gonna wont see me comin..
You ain't takin the only thing
That I earned to keep
You ain't takin the only thing
Keeping me asleep
You better get your hands off
Before you get them both cut off
Make the wrong move
And get your lights put out
Get your hands off
Before you get them both cut off
Make the wrong move
And get your lights put out
Get your hands off
Before you lose them both for good
Hands off
Get your hands off
Before you lose them both for good
You better get your hands off
Before you get them both cut off
Make the wrong move
And get your lights put out
Get your hands off
Before you get them both cut off
Make the wrong move
And get your lights put out

Jimmy Soul (August 24, 1942 - June 25, 1988), born James McCleese in Weldon, North Carolina, was a vocalist. He performed gospel as a teenager, later scouted by Frank Guida and recruited to sing songs handpicked for one of Guida's other hit artists, Gary U.S. Bonds. Soul only ever had two chart hits, both which were Bond's cast-offs, "Twistin' Matilda", in 1962, and the Billboard Hot 100 number one hit "If You Wanna Be Happy" (based on the calypso, "Ugly Woman", by Roaring Lion) in 1963.
