Armand Maulana (Tubagus Armand Maulana) (born in Bandung, West Java, 4 April 1971; age 39 years) is a vocalist of a group of top Indonesian music group named GIGI. He is the younger brother of singer and Indonesian TV hosts Nita Tilana.

Since childhood, Armand already loves music. When he was in elementary school, Armand had ever been a member of Genesis Fans Club, a group of fans of rock group Genesis. He has also been a member of the musical theater group at school.

Stepping Junior High in the mid-1980s when the music started blaring type fusion. Armand had come to collect the albums of jazz, fusion and likes a same genre.

Armand discovered his vocal abilities as a natural talent, and he never followed the singing of education both formal and informal.



Armand Maulana began his career as a finalist Cover Boy Mode magazine in 1985, when he was in school in grade 2 SMP 13 Bandung.

At the time in high school, Armand joined the vocal group at school, and always get the trust to be the main vocal. Armand began his professional career as a lead vocalist began when he joined the Next Band in 1990, then he also had joined a fairly well-known vocal group Trio Libels in 1991.
