Happy Ending Lyrics

Advisory - the following lyrics contain explicit language:
Do you want to end this way?
Happy endings make me feel out of place.
Can't you make a little scene?
Throw my shit out from your room to the street...We won't fight with the neighbors listening.
Turn out the light, what a happy ending...How can you remain so cold,
when the wind is ringing all my inner alarms?
I put on my yearbook smile
But always burn for something stupid and wild.We won't fight with the neighbors listening.
Kiss me goodnight, what a happy ending...We won't fight with the neighbors listening,
Kiss me goodnight, what a happy ending.

We won't fight with the neighbors listening,
Turn out the light...
What a happy ending.

Enjoy the lyrics !!!

Slow Runner got its start with Michael Flynn's writing and playing in high school. He played in a few bands but was mostly just having fun. He went to college and majored in English and Improving His Music and Writing. After college, Michael went to Boston for music school. He won 2nd place in a John Lennon songwriting contest. Also in Boston, he met fellow bandmate Josh Kaler. Josh and Michael moved to Charleston, SC, where they met local Danny Cassady, who joined Slow Runner on bass. Dave Middleton soon joined in on guitar and the rest is history.
