Happy Lyrics

Well, I've been sittin' here for a while
Wishin' I could finally see you smile
I've been wanting to see you for a long time'Cause everyday I grow farther from
Everything I've done and everyone
Here we go again I'm alone now'Cause we try so hard
Because we don't know what we're looking for
Yeah, you try so hard
Because you don't know what you're looking forYeah, I try so hard
Because I don't know what I'm looking for
But yeah, I'm happy
Yeah, I'm happy now
Yeah, I'm happyWell, I don't know if I'll ever find you
And I don't know if I'll ever need you againBut I've been sittin' here for so long
Wishin' I could write a brand new song
Maybe it will remind you of a time whenYeah, we try so hard
Because we don't know what we're looking for
Yeah, you try so hard
Because you don't know what you're looking forYeah, I try so hard

Because I don't know what I'm looking for
But yeah, I'm happy
Yeah, I'm happy now
Yeah, I'm happyWell, I've been sittin' here for a while
Wishin' I could finally see you smile
I've been wanting to see you for a long timeBecause I try so hard
Because we don't know what we're looking for
Yeah, you try so hard
Because you don't know what you're looking forYeah, I try so hard
Because I don't know what I'm looking for
But yeah, I'm happy
But yeah, I'm happy now
But yeah, I'm happyBut yeah, I'm happy now
But yeah, I'm happy
But yeah, I'm happy now
But yeah, I'm happy
But yeah, I'm happy now
But yeah, I'm happy

Socialburn originated in the mid-'90s around high-school pals Neil Alday (vocals/guitar), Dusty Price (bass), and Brandon Bittner (drums). After forming on the fly in their tiny central Florida hometown, the group expanded into the scene in nearby Tallahassee. Listeners took a liking to their straightforward post-grunge growl, and Socialburn was soon a hit at local radio. By 2000, guitarist Chris Cobb had been added and a self-released CD had dropped. SB branched out with gigs in Jacksonville and Orlando, hoping to generate label interest in an area already buzzing with the success of Creed.
