Hard As Hell Lyrics

Standing on the outside,
throwing coins in a wishing well.
Thinking about you woman,
such a sweet talking Jezebel.Loving you wasn't easy,
but losing you was hard as hell. There's two sides to you, babe,
and you know I can never tell.
Raging, or the angel,
oh, you played them both so well.
Loving you wasn't easy,
but losing you was hard as hell. The midnight winds are howling, babe
I hear the toll of a distant bell.
I dream I hear you calling me,
like you're casting a wicked spell.Loving you wasn't easy,
but losing you was hard as hell.
Loving you wasn't easy,
but losing you was hard.
Hard as hell.
Hard as hell.

Hard as hell.
Oh, hard as hell!

Coco Montoya (b. 1951 in Santa Monica, CA) is a blues guitarist and former member of John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers. Montoya's career began in the mid-70's when Albert Collins asked him to join his band as drummer. Collins took Montoya under his wing and taught him his "icy hot" guitar style. The two remained friends even after Montoya left Collins' band. In the early 80's John Mayall heard Montoya playing guitar in a Los Angles bar. Soon after Mayall asked Montoya to join the newly reformed Bluesbreakers. He remained a member of the band for 10 years.
