Fresh off the bus in Memphis Tennessee, Mark Lemhouse arrived in the Home of the Blues armed with a guitar style that echoed Beale Street’s acoustic blues legends, but in service to a distinctly contemporary songwriting voice filtering the emotion of Hank Williams Sr. through the attitude of Tom Waits.
