He Saw It All Lyrics

I was working in town one afternoon, attending some business affairs.
I heard a commotion a couple streets over and wondered what’s happenin’ there?
A young man was running from in that direction and stopped just to catch his breath,
I asked him to please tell me what was the hurry. He smiled up at me and he said-
I was trying to catch the crippled man, did he run past this way?
He was rushing home to tell everyone what Jesus did today.
And the mute man was telling myself and the deaf girl he’s leaving to answer God’s call,
It’s hard to believe, but if you don’t trust me,
Ask the blind man he saw it all. Ask the blind man he saw it all.
My friend if the troubles and burdens you carry are heavy and dragging you down,
You’ve tried everything you can possibly think of there’s no relief to be found,
That very same Jesus that altered the future of the blind man, the deaf and the lame,
Is still reaching out in your hour of trouble; One touch and you’re never the same.
You’ll be trying to catch the crippled man, did he run past this way?
He was rushing home to tell everyone what Jesus did today.

And the mute man was telling myself and the deaf girl he’s leaving to answer God’s call.
It’s hard to believe, but if you don’t trust me,
Ask the blind man he saw it all. Ask the blind man he saw it all

In 1990, Michael Booth, formed the second generation of the Booth Brothers (first disbanded by his father, Ron, in 1963) by recruiting his father and brother Ronnie Booth II. With the addition of pianist Tim Sievert, the quartet started singing under the name Ron Booth and the Booth Brothers. A few years later, Sievert left the band due to increasing hand problems, but they continued as a trio. They self-released Beyond the Cross with help from arranger/composer Mosie Lister. In 1993, their first popularity surged after an appearance at the Grand Ole Gospel Reunion and they again shortened their name to the Booth Brothers. They released their first Morning Star recording, Praise God Any How, in 1995 and after Ron Booth Sr. retired, he was replaced by former Perfect Heart member Joesph Smith. The lineup of Smith, Ronnie Booth Jr., and Michael Booth still exists. The group was awarded the SGMA Artist of the Year in 1999. Read more on Last.fm.
