Alex Day is unsigned and the biggest UK solo artist on YouTube with an audience of over half a million people. His 2011 winter single Forever Yours sold a hundred thousand copies worldwide in one week without any record label support or major radio airplay, landing on the UK Official Chart at #4 on Christmas Day.

Alex’s follow-up single Lady Godiva in April 2012 was released amidst sold-out signing appearances in stores around the country (over a thousand at HMV’s Edinburgh store alone). The song made the UK Top 20 and charted in fifteen other countries including Australia, New Zealand, Canada, America, Sweden, Norway, Spain and reached number 1 in Slovenia
