Heaven Will Rise Up Lyrics

You judge a man by the length of his hair
You think we’re foolish but we’re not
You took our hopes and replace them with fears
With empty promises, and makes you care
You say that the will be freedom yeah
The freedom to live, to live as you say
Generation of vipers what they always say
I know they’ll be a price to pay
Chorus
For the heavens will rise up against you
My fathers hand will bear your name
Hell on earth will be your playground
But higher calling will bear my name
A higher calling bear my name
I lust for love, don’t deny me my dew
I live and I breathe and I die like you

Never have much to give; still you take respect for granted
Now you wonder why I say
That I pay the price for things are free
Satisfying your need to be better than me
You said they’ll be justice but in later days
I’ve seen the seven ways you play
I’ve seen the seven ways you play
Chorus
When I feel there’s no way to go
And my best is nothing to show
There is the almighty showing me the way
Saying don’t give up, it’s not as hard as they say
Don’t give in look at what life really means
Just be strong there’s joy through your sorrow
But if you do wrong
The heavens will rise up against you
If you do wrong
My fathers hand will bear your name
If you do wrong
Hell on earth will be your playground
But higher calling will bear my name
A higher calling bear my name
The heavens will rise up against you
My fathers hand will bear your name
