Here I Stand Lyrics

Imagine your presence is near
I open my eyes and see you're not there
I wish i could hold you say we'll be ok
But it's gone too far
Remember the first day we met
I made you a promise you'd never regret
Now all that you are is all that I am
It's such a shame
Well I've tried so many times
But i just can't understand
Before you go, let me know
Here i stand
Sometimes things aren't what they seem
We say things in anger we don't really mean
Act without thinking it's not really me
Deep inside...
Believe me 'cause I never would
Do anything to try to hurt you

But i guess it means nothin you're going away
It's just too late
Well I've tried so many times
But i just can't understand
Before you go, let me know
Here i stand
Well I've cried so many tears
All you need to understand
Before you go let me know
Here I stand
Well I've tried so many times
But i just can't understand
Before you go, let me know
Here i stand
Well I've tried so many times
Before you go, let me know
Before you go, let me know
Before you go, let me know
Here I stand...
