He's Enough Reason Lyrics

Wake him up in the morning sun
Looking forward to the day that comes
He can pick out the shirt I wear
I'll put a yellow flower in my long blond hairGot nothing really planned today
But it doesn't matter anyway
He can take me where I want to go
Yeah, he's the kind of guy that always seems to knowOne way or another he just grows on me
And I can't wait to tell him that it's plain to seeThat he's enough reason
To give up my freedom
Tell my ex to stop calling, admit that I'm falling
Yeah, he's enough reasonWhen he lays in my arms at night
Counting stars in the pale moonlight
It's a feeling that I can't explain
'Cause no other lover's ever made me feel the sameHe's the kind of guy you can't compare
To anybody else out there
And when I blow him a little kiss
He makes me forget about all the guys I'll missOne way of another he just grows on me
And I can't wait to tell him that it's plain to seeThat he's enough reason

To give up my freedom
And I'm even working on stopping my flirting
'Cause he's enough reason, yeahI can't promise him forever
No, I can't promise
We'll always be together
But I'll promise to try
You know I'll promise to tryOh, oh, oh
I never thought I'd be the one who's so
Infatuated, freakin', I don't know
Where this will take me
But I promise, I promise, I promise'Cause he's enough reason
To give up my freedom
Tell my ex to stop calling, admit that I'm falling
Yeah, he's enough reasonWake up
Wake up, pretty baby, ooh ooh
Wake up, wake up, pretty baby
Wake up, wake up, wake up

The bouncy pop group Hope 7 featured singer Kristi McClave, guitarist Dave Noble, bassist Chevy Martinez, and drummer Ricky Rodriguez. A singer since age six, McClave began auditioning for roles in musicals in her early teens; producer Rodney Jerkins was at one of those auditions and decided she would be the featured vocalist for his new girl group, the 3Gs. However, finding the right mix of other singers proved difficult, and the 3Gs disbanded. McClave continued to work with some of the other producers involved in the 3Gs; together, they decided to move in a more rock-oriented direction.
