Hey Jealousy Lyrics

You'd tell me, do you think it'd be all right
If I could just crash here tonight
You can see I'm in no shape for driving
And anyway I've got no place to goAnd you know it might not be that bad
You were the best I'd ever had
If I hadn't blown the whole thing years ago
I might not be aloneTomorrow we can drive around this town
And let the cops chase us around
The past is gone but something might be found
To take it's place, hey jealousy
Hey jealousy, hey jealousy, hey jealousyAnd you can trust me not to think
And not to sleep around
And if you don't expect too much from me
You might not be let down'Cause all I really want is to be with you
Feeling like I matter too
If I hadn't blown the whole thing years ago
I might be here with youTomorrow we can drive around this town
And let the cops chase us around

The past is gone but something might be found
To take it's place, hey jealousyTomorrow we can drive around this town
And let the cops chase us around
The past is gone but something might be found
To take it's place, hey jealousy
Hey jealousy, hey jealousy, hey jealousyYou'd tell me and do you think it'd be all right
If I could just crash here tonight
You'd see I'm in no shape for driving
And anyway I've got no place to goAnd you know it might not be that bad
You were the best I'd ever had
If I hadn't blown the whole thing years ago
I might not be aloneTomorrow we can drive around this town
And let the cops chase us around
The past is gone but something might be found
To take it's place, hey jealousyHey jealousy, listen to my heart
There's only one thing I couldn't start

Three willfully geeky guys from South Amboy, New Jersey who play pop punk with speed, power and a mighty smirk (which occasionally belies the fact they sometimes mean what they say), the Ergs! (or, as they like to call themselves, "The Near-Sighted Three") came together in 2000, with Jeffrey Erg (Jeff Schroeck) on guitar and vocals, Joey Erg (Joe Keller) on bass, and Mikey Erg (Mike Yannich) on drums and lead vocals.
