High Anxiety Lyrics

Well, it's the high anxiety I'm a victim of society
High anxiety, I'm a victim of society, high anxiety
It's my high anxiety getting to the best of meSometimes I feel like I'm gonna explode
And when I'm approaching total overload
I know that when I'm having a panic attack
To duck and cover 'cause I can feel it comingWell, it's the high anxiety I'm a victim of society
High anxiety, I'm a victim of society, high anxiety
It's my high anxiety getting to the best of meThis time I feel like I'm gonna die
Cold sweat the fear is paralyzing you know
I wish that this was over and done
Heart pounds, I can feel it escalatingWell, it's the high anxiety I'm a victim of society
High anxiety, I'm a victim of society, high anxiety
It's my high anxiety getting to the best of meI don't know why sometimes I wake up
In the middle of the night I don't know why I gasp for breath
I'm really feeling like I'm on the brink of death
I wish I could get this crisis under controlThen I could feel some kind of closure
I feel this could go on and on without end
I guess I'll just have to ride it out 'causeWell, it's the high anxiety I'm a victim of society

High anxiety, I'm a victim of society, high anxiety
It's my high anxiety getting to the best of meWell, it's the high anxiety I'm a victim of society
High anxiety, I'm a victim of society, high anxiety
It's my high anxiety getting to the best of me

The Suicide Machines were a band formed in 1991 in Detroit, Michigan under the original name Jack Kevorkian and the Suicide Machines. The band's original lineup consisted of Jason Navarro on vocals, Dan Lukacinsky on guitar, Jason Brake on bass, and Stefan Rairigh on drums. This lineup lasted a year until Bill Jennings replaced Rairigh, but he was himself soon replaced by Derek Grant. They recorded the band's first demos The Essential Kevorkian and Green World in 1993 and 1994, both released through their own label Sluggo's Old Skool Records.
