High Road Easy Lyrics

Got a pocket full of power
Got a handle on control
Take a better man than you babe
Rectify the damage to my soul'Cause you took me down so easy
Got the devil in you veins
I may remember what was good
But I won't forget the pain
No I won't forget the painTake the high road easy
When your steel begins to rust
Take the high road easy
And your bones will turn to dustWell this morning it was sunshine
But my head was in the clouds
'Cause the minute that I hit the street
I saw you face in every crowdWith the humble scraps you feed me
Got addicted to the game
And even more your face will be
I won't forget the name
No I won't forget the nameTake the high road easy

When you face begins to crack
Take the high road easy
'Cause you won't be coming backTake the high road easy
When your steel begins to rust
Take the high road easy
And your bones will turn to dust, yeah, yeahTime will tell if your destined to fall
You gotta throw that shit away
You don't want more no you just want it all
Well it might be better baby
You know the devil, devil gotta get paidGot a pocket full of power
Got a handle on control
Take a better man than you babe
Rectify the damage to my soulYou took me down so easy
Got the devil in you veins
I may remember what was good
I won't forget the pain
No I won't forget the painTake the high road easy
When you face begins to crack
Take the high road easy
'Cause you won't be coming backTake the high road easy
When your steel begins to rust
Take the high road easy
And your bones will turn to dustEasy, easy, easy, easy, yeah
