Northern Star is a record label and mp3 vendor dedicated to psychedelic, experimental, underground and independent sounds. The label launched in March 2006 with the double cd compilation Psychedelica Vol: 1 which featured Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Black Angels, The Telescopes, Electric Prunes, Silver Apples and many more. The mp3 shop was launched in November 2006 to enable like minded bands to sell their music to a dedicated audience.
