Highly Inflammable Lyrics

Highly inflammableNeurotic tensions
Waiting to explode
I thought you were a man
You thought I was a woman
Risen overflowed
But I was Tinkerbell
And you were Peter PanIt ain't hip if you are retro
Influenced by the fashion pages
Influenced by other's phrases
You're a pseudo quasi intellectualSupreme equality
We used to competeThe right to decide
Is denied to the sheep
I thought you were a man
You thought I was a woman
But I was Tinkerbell
And you were Peter Pan

X-Ray Spex are an English punk band from London that formed in 1976. The original line-up featured singer Poly Styrene (born Marion Elliot-Said) on vocals, Jak Airport (Jack Stafford) on guitars, Paul Dean on bass, Paul 'B. P.' Hurding on Drums, and Lora Logic (born Susan Whitby) on saxophone. This latter instrument was an atypical addition to the standard punk instrumental line-up, and became one of the group's most distinctive features.
