Gold Lake is one of the most exciting new Brooklyn-based bands. Founding members, Carlos and Lua, met in their late teens in Europe, where Carlos, regardless of his young age, had opened one of the hippest night clubs in Madrid. Together they began what would later become one of the most international bands in their country, We Are Balboa. We Are Balboa released a couple of albums, with "Space Between Bodies" being their most critcally acclaimed work.
