House of Mirrors Lyrics

faces in the hallway
cracks up in the ceiling
shadows coming my way
and your house is full of mirrors
echoes in the alleyway
a-footsteps in the hall
and this house if full of mirrors
and your house is full of mirrors
and it's time for you to come and stay
now, it's time for you to find a way
and it's time for you to come and stay
in the house of mirrors
echoes in the alleyway
a-footsteps on the floor
i never thought I'd see the day
but this house if full of memories
is there anybody out there?
i saw it comin' my way

but this house is full of mirrors
in this house of many mirrors
and it's time for you to come and stay
now, it's time for you to find a way
oh and every room and every hall
I've seen your face
and it's time for you to come and stay
in the house of mirrors
(...everyone I know has seen us)
yeah, faces in the hallway
(faces in the hallway)
shadow on the ceiling
(shadow on the ceiling)
this chill is comin' my way
(this chill is comin' my way)
and this house if full of memories
oh, echoes in the alleyway
(echoes in the alleyway)
a-footsteps in the hall
now, love is comin' my way
(now, love is comin' my way)
in this house of many mirrors
oh, in every room, in every hall - I've seen your face
now, it's time for you to come and stay
in the house of mirrors

Everything began in 1988 when Jan L. from Bochum, Germany used his legendary C64 for combining electronic sounds with organ-sequences and vinyl-elements. Two years later his C64 was detached by Amiga 500, developing to 4 tracks and 8 bit. X-FUSION was born! 1991 his first demo tape called 'Syndromic Noise' was finished. In the following year Jan extended the equipment with his first own synthesizer – the Kawai K4 – and his style of music finally got a designation. During that period the second demo-tape was created and could be defined as Hardtrance.
