Hurricane Lyrics

I knew when she blew in she wouldnt stay
Every now and then God makes one that way
A red head wild child with storms in her eyes
I knew Id never be the same
Thats the thing about a hurricane
Shes all lightnin and wind and rain
Get too close and youre swept away
Better hold on till it breaks
Cause its a hell of a ride if you can just survive the pain
Thats the thing about a hurricane
She said she was runnin from her past
And every breath she stole felt like my last
And her kiss told me better get on outa there
But I was too far gone to care
And thats the thing about a hurricane
Shes all lightnin and wind and rain
Get too close and youre swept away
Better hold on till it breaks

Cause its a hell of a ride if you can just survive the pain
Thats the thing about a hurricane
Now even in blue skies there aint no forgettin
Is it any wonder they name em after women
And thats the thing about a hurricane
Shes all lightnin and wind and rain
Get too close and youre swept away
Better hold on till it breaks
Cause its a hell of a ride if you can just survive the pain
Thats the thing about a hurricane
