Samantha Schultz was born in Edmonton, Alberta. She began singing at the age of three and has continued to grow and practice her talents ever since. Her instrument of choice for accompaniment is her acoustic 6 string guitar and has been playing since she was eleven. In November of 2006, Samantha was the youngest nominee in the "Young Performer of the Year" category for the Canadian Folk Music Awards.
