I Apologize Lyrics

I apologize
For being faithless
I apologize
We all have joy and pain
I apologize
For life is not easyI try to live my life being patient
I try to do it right, sometimes I don't succeed
There's a guiding light to give me direction
When I'm standing in the darkDo we have to fight each other?
Can't we see the needs, are we too blind to see?
Listen with our hearts is what we need now
I'll be the first to sayI apologize
For being faithless
I apologize
We all have joy and pain
I apologize
For life is not easy
We're only humanI apologize

For being faithless
I apologize
We all have joy and pain
I apologize
For life is not easy
We're only humanSaying that we care is easy
But if we're never there it's like a broken vow
Open up your heart remember
In life we reap what we sowHiding from myself won't protect me
It's me nobody else who ends up as a fool
No more holding back what I give
I'll give it straight from my heartI apologize
For being faithless
I apologize
We all have joy and pain
I apologize
For life is not easy
We're only humanI apologize
For being faithless
I apologize
We all have joy and pain
I apologize
For life is not easyWe've gotta make a change
Look into the mirror
We can turn around
Life isn't a one way streetListen to your heart
If you're lost and lonely
It will show you loveFor being faithless
Life is not easy
Oh, we're only humanI apologize
For being faithless
I apologize
We all have joy and pain
I apologize
For life is not easy
I'm only humanI apologize
For being faithless
I apologize
We all have joy and pain
I apologize
For life is not easyI apologize
For being faithless
I apologize
We all have joy and pain
I apologize
For life is not easy
I apologize

Melanie Janene was born in Charleston, South Carolina and began studying voice from the age of six, as well as learning to play the piano and the clarinet. Growing up her mother would listen to Aretha Franklin, Roberta Flack. Melanie would mimic the female vocalists she saw on television or heard on radio. Later on she financed her college studies with appearances in talent shows and smaller band concerts. She frequented a club called The Peacock Lounge, getting up and doing jam sessions when the live band invited people up to sing.
