The artist Y.Hustle’s name says it all. This Midwest rapper is definitely going to see his hard work pay off.
Y.Hustle (Vinson White) was born in the small city of Kankakee, Ill, November 14th 1981. Shortly after his birth his family moved to Saint Paul, Minnesota where he was raised. Y.Hustle, unlike many artists that so easily fall victim to life's circumstances, happens to be one of those rare exceptions that broke through barriers to create music that illustrates all that he stands for.
The soon to be released mixtape, ‘Break Yoself', will be a west coast inspired sound and bring audiences a sense of trials, tribulations and uphill battles he has faced throughout his life. Y.Hustle has a voice that can't be mistaken, and flawlessly rides the beat of every song. As well as having completed his first fully mastered album and a mixtape, Y.Hustle is currently working on several mix-tape projects, as well as promoting ‘Ver-sa-til-i-ty’ around the midwest and west coast regions of the country. Y.Hustle, CEO of HUSTLEMANIA Entertainment, will be hitting the streets hard, handing out demo discs, promoting cd sales across the US and through internet sites to the world, as well as performing live to get his music heard by as many people as he can.

As a young teen Y.Hustle discovered that he had a gift in creating music, particularly rap music. He had already lost his grandmother, at age 9, and his father at 11. But the heartache wouldn’t stop him. He landed a gig as an intern on the radio in St. Cloud, MN and was working the crowds. When Y.Hustle was 21 the sudden death of his mother shook his world. But the loss of his best friend didn’t stop him, instead he became more determined to show the world what Hustle truly means.
With aspirations to venture into comedy, acting, voice overs, just to entertain, Y.Hustle begins in music. He has two albums under his belt; Born to Hustle, his calibration with Born Leader, Bob Bullavard and Hustlemania, his first, solo album. A member of ASCAP and rights to all his work, Y.Hustle plays a role in every part of his music. From the beats to the lyrics, to the production, he operates it all.
Now that Hustlemania is being digitally distributed, the road has just begun for Y.Hustle. Spending nearly all his free time in his studio, he is currently working on releasing a mix tape album, targeting the d.j. scene. He is also working on his next album, Vers-A-Tility, which he plans on attracting audiences from multiple genres such as acoustic and rock.
