I Believe Lyrics

Tears, tears at the waters edge
Hey, little sister give us laughter instead
Tears for the teacher, from the eyes, for her soul
This restless spirit takes a long way back homeLike the wind, you are free
Just a whisper I hear you, so talk to meOh, I believe, ayy-o-ayy
Say brother sisters, see your brothers in the sky
Neighbor, neighbor, don't be so cold
It's only glory from the story untold, ah-oohOh, I believe, ayy-o-ayy
Say brother sisters, see your brothers in the sky, oh oh oh
Neighbor, neighbor, don't be so cold
It's so much glory from the story untold
Ah-ooh, ooh, mmm, yeahBig fire, on top of the hill
A worthless gesture and last farewell
Tears from your mother, from the pits of her soul
Look at your father, see his blood run coldLike the wind, you are free
Just a whisper, I hear you, so talk to me
Oh talk to me, oh talk to me
Oh talk to me, oh come on now, come on nowI believe, ayy-o-ayy

Say brothers sisters, see your brothers in the sky
Neighbor, neighbor, don't be so cold
There's so much glory from the story untold, ah-oohI believe, ayy-o-ayy
Say brothers sisters, see your brothers in the sky
Neighbor, neighbor, don't be so cold
There's so much glory from the story untold
Ah-ooh, ooh, I believe, I believe, I believe

Robert Anthony Plant CBE (born 20 August 1948, West Bromwich, Staffordshire, England) is a British rock singer famous for being the lead vocalist of one of the most influential rock bands of all time: Led Zeppelin. He is known for his powerful style with a wide vocal range. After Led Zeppelin's breakup following the sudden death of drummer John Bonham in 1980, Plant pursued a successful solo career. Popular tracks from this period include "Big Log," "Tall Cool One," and "I Believe." In 1984, Plant formed a short-lived all-star group with Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck and Phil Collins called The Honeydrippers, who had a Top Ten hit with a remake of the Phil Phillips' tune, "Sea of Love".

Plant's love of the music of Morocco led him to a new collaboration called Robert Plant And The Strange Sensation. The band's releases met with critical acclaim and numerous Grammy nominations. They completed the 2006 tour of Europe in September.

In 2007, Plant began recording and performing with bluegrass star Alison Krauss. A duet album, Raising Sand, was released on 23 October 2007 on Rounder Records. The album, recorded in Nashville and Los Angeles and produced by T-Bone Burnett met with enormous critical and commercial success.

The year of 2010 proves to be yet another successful year for the aging lemon squeezer. Durring the summer, Plant will be reuniting with his old, Pre-Zep group, The Band Of Joy, for a tour of the southern and mid continental tour of the US.
