I Can't Wait Lyrics

Go on and treat me like a jerk
Well, when he comes to play
Girl, if I'm so bad
Why don't you go his way?
Aw, but there's nothin' like your lovin'
Can't wait to hear you say
There ain't no one can move me
In this whole world like you do
Baby if I cause you pain
Why don't you go his way?
It's all right, if tonight should be the last
It's all right, you're already in my past
It's all right, go ahead and come home late now
It's all right, girl it's all right

Can't take it anymore (Yeah yeah yeah)
Oh, the way you mess around (Yeah yeah)
Oh baby, I can't stay (No no)
With the way you put me down (Yeah yeah yeah.)
Aw, but there ain't nothin' like your lovin'
Can't wait to hear you say
There ain't no one can move me
In this whole world like you do
Baby if I cause you pain
Why don't you go his way?
Baby if I cause you pain
Why don't you go his way? Yeah
It's all right, if tonight should be the last
It's all right, you're already in my past
It's all right, go ahead and come home late now
It's all right, girl it's all right
Can't wait to hear you say (Yeah yeah yeah)
From a thousand miles away (Yeah yeah)
Don't want your love to roam (No no)
Why don't you come back home? (Yeah yeah yeah)
Because there's nothin' like your lovin'
Can't wait to hear you say
There ain't no one can move me
In this whole world like you do
Baby if I 'cause you pain
Why don't you go his way?
Baby if I 'cause you pain
Why don't you go his way? Yeah

Hepcat are a third wave ska band formed in southern California in 1989. Their soulful harmonies and mellow rhythms were unlike those of contemporaries and more akin to musicians from the heyday of 1960s jamaican ska, also referred to as the first wave. Hepcat's debut album, "Out of Nowhere" was released in 1994 on New York-based ska label Moon Records. Two years later, they followed it up with "Scientific" on BYO Records.
