I Get Along Without You Very Well Lyrics

I get along without you very well, of course I do
Except when the soft rains fall
And drip from the leaves, then I recall
The thrill of being sheltered in your arms, of course I do
But I get along without you very wellI've forgotten you just like I should, of course I have
Except to hear your name
Or someone's laugh that is just the same
But I've forgotten you just like I shouldWhat a guy, what a fool am I
To think my breaking heart could kid the moon
What's in store, should I phone once more?
No it's best that I stick to my tuneI get along without you very well, of course I do
Except perhaps in spring
But I should never think of spring
For that would surely break my heart in two

Enjoy the lyrics !!!

Born in England and raised in Australia, Hetty Kate is a jazz vocalist with a distinctive voice, pure tone and an interest in straight-ahead jazz and vintage music. Often compared to a young Peggy Lee or Doris Day and present day chanteuses such as Stacey Kent and Silje Nergaard her phrasing and sweet swinging style has allowed her to perform in many fantastic countries around the world. In the last five years she has appeared on six albums, four of which are with her own bands – and three of those have been released this year.
