I Know My Babe (Live at Les Cousins) Lyrics

I know my babe
She's bound to love me some
Said I know my woman
She's bound to love me someShe throws her arms around me
Like a circle 'round the sunLaid down last night
Just a' tryin' to take my rest
Laid down last night
I was a' tryin' to take my rest
But my mind got to wonderin'
Like wild geese in the westSun's gonna shine on
My back door some day
Sun's gonna shine on
My backdoor some dayYou know the wind's gonna blow
Gonna blow my blues away
I know my baby
She's bound to love me some
Said I know my woman
She's bound to love me someWhy she throws her arms around me

Like a circle 'round the sun

John Renbourn (born August 8, 1944, Marylebone, London, England) is a British guitarist and songwriter. He is possibly best-known for his collaboration with guitarist Bert Jansch as well as his work with the folk group The Pentangle, although he maintained a solo career both before, during and after that band's existence (1967-1973). While most commonly labelled a folk musician, Renbourn's musical tastes and interests take in early music, classical music, blues and world music. His most influential album, Sir John Alot (1968), featured his take on songs from the Medieval era.
