I Loved the Way She Said L.A. Lyrics

Say the things you say
And youre dreaming like you do
You know sometimes circles run around you
Hey, now lets be honest, I really think its trueYou know sometimes we all bend the rules
You've runned a life
You've been around
You love to live, to hate this townAnd I hope and dream just like you do
Yeah, weve been here twice before
You want it to mean so much more
And I hope that every thing goes throughShe goes to California, oh
California is not so far
When I close my eyes and wonder where you are
And you wish upon a star
Two thousand miles doesn't seem so farYou play the games you play
You win sometimes, you loose
You know sometimes walls run into you
Now you got me thinking and I really think it's trueThe sun shines sometimes just for you
You've runned a life

You've been around
You love to live, to hate this townAnd I hope and dream just like you do
Yeah, weve been here twice before
You want it to mean so much more
And I hope that every thing goes throughShe goes to California, oh
California is not so far
When I close my eyes and wonder where you are
And you wish upon a star
Two thousand miles doesn't seem so farSo far, so far, so far

Spitalfield was an alternative rock band based in Glen Ellyn, Chicago and signed to the Victory Records label. Formed in 1998, Spitalfield caught the attention of Victory Records with the 2002 release of The Cloak and Dagger Club EP and a year later released fan-favorite Remember Right Now. Spitalfield also released an album titled Stop Doing Bad Things in 2005 which featured songs like "Gold Dust V. The State Of Illinois" and "So I heard You Joined a Convent". The band's name comes from what members describe as a village where Jack the Ripper came from.
