I Miss You Lyrics

I'm getting tired of waiting around for the fireworks at the end
They never seem to quite live up to what the ads in the paper said
And it seems like there's nothing worth listening to on the radio anymore
and it's hard when you're waiting always waiting
but you don't know what you're waiting for
CHORUS:
Know I miss you
Know I miss you
Know how much i miss you
I miss you
Like some awful disease the desire to please has left me naked gray and cold
I've been grinding these gears for 25 years now but I feel a hundred years old
and how easy you slipped from my awkward young grip
as I was busy trying to grow up

and now all of my prayers sound like half ass dares
to a coward who won't show up
CHORUS

Enjoy the lyrics !!!
The first thing you’ll notice on his debut release "Imperfect Man" are the lyrics. Bryan’s introspective, highly-emotionally charged words strip him down to his human core, while at the same time magnetically drawing in his listeners with their uncanny accessibility and naked honesty. Never pretentious, frequently clever, but always real, Bryan has placed his finger on the pulse of his generation and this album is what he found.

The words are mingled with expertly performed pop/rock songwriting with sensibilities reminiscent of John Mayer, Marc Broussard, Ben Folds, even the great Billy Joel. The songwriting is perfectly thought out, and remarkably diverse. Combined with the masterful production of Charles Newman, the album takes you to a place that is equal parts polished and raw, epic and restrained, mainstream and indie. At times you’ll find your feet tapping and your head bobbing, other times you’ll find your heart breaking and your eyes welling with tears. But the whole time, you’ll feel a sense of familiarity with the songwriting, almost as if you could have written the songs yourself.

Bryan’s beautifully arranged music and careful heartfelt storytelling is revealing and profound, moving and upbeat, fun and devastating, and expertly conveys the monumental struggle that wages every day: Man vs. their flaws.

We all have our regrets. But listen to this album - rest assured it won’t be one of them.
