I Never Liked You Lyrics

I'm sick of this dirty dress
I'm thinking I might do less
Now there's something I must confess to youYou know how every day's
The same old every ways
Well, I've got a secret to tellI can't contain it anymore
Who's knocking at your door?Hey, surprise
I never liked you
Even when I tried to
Don't speak now, it's my turn baby
I never liked you
And I won't pretend toHey, look twice
I never liked you
Even when I tried to
Can't you see the curtains falling?
Is there a reason you're still hanging around? That's right I'm waving goodbye
You always thought I'd play nice
Well, you never thought at allYou look a little distressed
Am I looking my best?

Now, here's something you can't possessI can't contain it anymore
Who's knocking at your door?Hey, surprise
I never liked you
Even when I tried to
Don't speak now, it's my turn, baby
I never liked you
And I won't pretend toHey, look twice
I never liked you
Even when I tried to
Can't you see the curtains falling?
Is there a reason you're still hanging around? How could it suddenly be that we've come to this?
I'll drag you down to me
And then I'll switch your place
So you're the one that's stuck here with a picture of my faceHey, surprise
I never liked you
Even when I tried to
Don't speak now, it's my turn baby
I never liked you
And I won't pretend toHey, look twice
I never liked you
Even when I tried to
Can't you see the curtains falling?

Don Caballero is a critically-acclaimed instrumental rock group from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. They are often categorized as math rock, though the band dislikes this label. The group took their name from the character Guy Caballero, portrayed by Joe Flaherty, on the sketch comedy show Second City Television. In SCTV's parody of the film The Godfather, Guy Caballero is called "Don Caballero." Don Caballero (affectionately called "Don Cab" or "The Don" by fans) formed in the summer of 1991, released five albums on Touch And Go Records between 1993 and 2000, then disbanded in November 2000.
