I Never Met Another Gemini Lyrics

Slowly we peel away the layers
And the light seeps through the cracks
You whispered softly in my ear
"The birth of morning's upon us, dear"The bandages feel upon the floor
And there was no one in that room
And there was no one in that room
And it's quiet down the hallway
Where the doctors wash their handsBehind my eyes I feel the
Hollow jabs of your morphine kiss
Your anesthetic name
Is autographed upon my bonesThis reception died in vein
This reception died in vein, in vein
This reception died in vein
This reception died in vein
This reception died in veinA tarnished angel leaves her ghost on the surface
A jealous daughter starves to death, for the mother
As I awaited your return
As I awaited your return

I wait for your return
I wait for your returnIt seems the only way that I will ever feel alive
To throw myself into my injuries and close my eyes
I'd give anything to feel alive and I will wait for you tonight
And I will wait for you tonight, I will wait for you tonight
I know I know ( Wait for your tonight)
I know I knowThe scalpel carves a map for you
A map for you
A map for you
A map for youThis reception died in vein
Died in vein, died in vein
Died in vein
This reception died in vein
This reception died

The Bled was a post-hardcore/mathcore band from Tucson, Arizona. Formed in 2001, they soon established a name for themselves in their home town, playing many shows and often to sold out audiences. Eventually they signed to Fiddler Records and released one album through them - Pass The Flask. The band toured extensively in support of this album. However, before recording started for their second album, original bass player, Mike Celi, left the band. He was replaced by Darren Simoes. The band is currently signed to Rise Records and through them, released their fourth album, Heat Fetish in 2010.
