I See Red Lyrics

When my baby's walking down the street
I see red, I see red, I see red
How could someone wicked walk around free?
I see red, I see red, I see red
I see red, I see red
(Red)
I see redI respect your wishes
You gave me such precious hours
What to do without you?Squeezed me out of your life
Down the drain like molten toothpaste
I feel used and spat out, poor old meWhen my baby's walking down the street
I see red, I see red, I see red
How could someone wicked walk around free?
I see red, I see red, I see red
I see red, I see red
(Red)
I see redI'm fed up with crying
My despair is dying

Turning into rage, day by dayGreen before you met me
In the pink when you let me love you
I was blue when you let me down, black and blueWhen my baby's walking down the street
I see red, I see red, I see red
How could someone wicked walk around free?
I see red, I see red, I see red
I see red, I see red
(Red)
I see redGoI see red, I see red, I see red
I see red, I see red, I see red
I see red
(Red)I see red, I see red, I see red
(I see red)
I see red, I see red, I see red
(I see red)
I see red, I see red, I see red
(I see red)

Split Enz is one of the most successful and longest running bands ever to emerge from New Zealand. The group was formed in Auckland, New Zealand in 1972 by Tim Finn, Phil Judd, Mike Chunn, Miles Golding, and Mike Howard, who originally called themselves "Split Ends." They soon changed the spelling to honor their NZ homeland. For much of their career, the band was known for wild costumes and make-up designed by Crombie.
