I Wanna Dance With Somebody - The Side Project

There are several bands with this name:

1) Ben and Suzie Bradford's adult contemporary musical outfit known as “The Side Project” was formed in late 2003, in 2004 they moved from Spokane to Seattle. For two years they joined forces with Grammy award winning musician / engineer / producer Eric Tingstad (of the Tingstad & Rumbel duo) and his wife (booking agent / music manager) Carol Tingstad, who booked award winning acts David Lanz, Will Ackerman, Leroy Bell, and Gypsy Soul. Their releases so far are: 14 (1st original album), A Comfortable Struggle (2nd original album), Wake Up Call (3rd original album), and Cover Up (1st cover record).

2) The Side Project are a pop punk band from Washburn, Wisconsin. They released a 7-inch in 2009 called New Brain and a split 7-inch with The Transgressions in 2010 called Stop Wasting My Time, both on Traffic Street Records.

3) There's also an emo / pop punk band from Jakarta, Indonesia which consists of Dochi Sadega (guitar, scream), Faddy Alkatiri (vocal)s, Andhika Hardie (bass, vocals), Ayie Deadbolt (guitar, vocals) and Pasha Acam (drums, vocals).

4) SideProject is an acoustic rock/progressive/hip hop group from Metro Detroit. The band’s first studio album The Pilot Album was released the first week of March, 2006.

5) Side Project is a duo from Zagreb, Croatia consisting of Luka Vidović and Anja Papa which is currently working on their debut album.
