I Will Be Lyrics

We can't go back, it got too dark
We saved ourselves and now we reap hard
A child needs words said to their ears
To comfort them in a time of fearNo one deserves it
And no one can reverse itI will be your light when yours, when yours ain't working
And I will be your heart when yours, when yours is hurting
So don't give up on me now
Don't give up on me now
Don't give up on me now
I will be your world when yours, when yours stops turningI hope you know in spite of life
Forgiveness is your divine right
So tell yourself you came from good
I'll take your place if I only couldNo one deserves it
But no one can reverse itSo I will be your light when yours, when yours ain't working
And I will be your heart when yours, when yours is hurting
Don't give up on me now
Don't give up on me now
Don't give up on me now

I will be your world when yours, when yours stops turningBridge:
They tell me to walk away
I say 'over my dead body'
They tell me you could never change
But I'll be your onlyI will be your light when yours, when yours stops working
I will be your heart when yours, when yours is hurting
So don't give up on me now
Don't give up on me now
Don't give up on me now
'Cause I will be your world when yours, when yours stops turningDon't give up on me now
Don't give up on me now
Don't give up on me now
