I Won't Give Up Lyrics

Went to see the world, met some pretty people
Now I know what I'm not looking for
They say it's close to home, that is where you'll meet them
What I found makes it hurt the more
And, oh, and now and now and now you're here
But you're still no nearer, I'm hanging on because
You might need love someday, I won't give up
Don't know, don't care how long, I'm just gonna sit here
Till you come around to me, oh no I won't give up
Don't tell me should I give up now, I couldn't if I knew how
I will worship you, put you on a pedestal
And always let you know you're beautiful
You're my drop of sun, won't you let me into your life?
You don't see it but I'm good for you
And oh, here I go, I go, I go again
And I'm still no nearer but I'll hang right on because
You might need love someday, I won't give up
Don't know, don't care how long, I'm just sit gonna sit here

Till you come around to me, oh no I won't give up
You need me somehow, I'm telling you but you don't know it
It's just matter of time, someday you'll see
That you and me, got something going on
And on and on and on, on and on
Just stop thinking that you're alright, I can help you
Just stop thinking that you're alright, I can help you
Just stop thinking that you're alright, I can help you
Just stop thinking that you're alright, I can help you
You might need love someday, I won't give up
Don't know, don't care how long, I'm just gonna sit here
Till you come around to me, oh no I won't give up
Don't tell me should I give up now, I couldn't if I knew how
You might need love someday, I won't give up
Don't know, don't care how long, I'm just gonna sit here
Till you come around to me, oh no I won't give up
Don't tell me should I give up now, I couldn't if I knew how
You might need love someday, I won't give up
Don't know, don't care how long, I'm just gonna sit here
Till you come around to me, oh no I won't give up
Don't tell me should I give up now, I couldn't if I knew how
You might need love someday, I won't give up
Don't know, don't care how long, I'm just gonna sit here
Till you come around to me, oh no I won't give up

The jock, the nerd, the stud, and more...all can be found in The Stereotypes, Washington University's award-winning all-male a cappella group. The Stereotypes cover regular tunes but also dabble in punk, rap, emo, and other experimental genres. Named the top group at Washington University in 2004 and chosen to sing at the nationally-televised ESPN Slam Dunk Contest in 2005, The Stereotypes have come a long way since their formation in 2001. They have consistently stood out as participants in the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella, taking home the awards for Best Choreography and Best Arrangements in 2007 and placing second runner-up in 2008. In 2009, they took first place at their quarterfinal round and won three out of the four Judges Awards (Outstanding Soloist - Dithu Rajaraman, Oustanding Vocal Percussion - Dayne Seiden, and Best Choreography), and went on to sing at the Midwest semifinal round of the competition. The group has just released their second album and continues to perform to sold-out audiences, proving that "Stereotyping" has never felt so right. Read more on Last.fm.
