NAGISA COSMETIC is a one-shot two-person musical unit, represented by Ichikawa Nagisa (市川渚, born July 26, 1984), a Japanese street fashion model and designer, and her friend, famed Japanese electronica producer Nakata Yasutaka. Formed in Tokyo, Japan, the unit was created when Nakata discovered Ichikawa in a fashion magazine, and contacted her through her editor. Drawing influences from lounge, bossa nova, and shibuya-kei, they released their self-titled album in 2004.
