I'd Love You To Want Me Lyrics

When I saw you standing there
I about fell off my chair
When you moved your mouth to speak
I felt the blood go to my feetNow it took time for me to know
What you tried so not to show
Something in my soul just cried
I see the want in your blue eyesBaby, I'd love you to want me
The way that I want you, the way that it should be
Baby, you'd love me to want you
The way that I want to if you'd only let it beYou told yourself years ago
You'd never let your feelings show
The obligation that you made
For the title that they gaveBaby, I'd love you to want me
The way that I want you, the way that it should be
Baby, you'd love me to want you
The way that I want to if you'd only let it beNow it took time for me to know
What you tried so not to show
But something in my soul just cried

I see the want in your blue eyesBaby, I'd love you to want me
The way that I want you, the way that it should be
Baby, you'd love me to want you
The way that I want to if you'd only let it be, ohBaby, I'd love you to want me
The way that I want you, the way that it should be
Baby, you'd love me to want you
The way that I want to if you'd only let it be

Bonfire (originally Cacumen) is a German hard rock band, founded in Ingolstadt, Germany in 1972. --- Cacumen (1972-1986) In 1972 in the West German town of Ingolstadt a teenage guitarist, Hans Ziller, put together a rock band called Cacumen with his brother Karl, who also played guitar, and gathered a group of friends to complete the band. The name of the group was from a school test Hans had taken; it translates from Latin to mean "the top of a mountain". For the next six years the band played at local small venues but had a fan base in their home town.
