Identify Lyrics

Some things are out of my hands,
I'm what time and consequence have made me
Sit back and watch the world explode,
Three, two, one here come the fireworks, babySome times you can feel so smart,
just like a ghost in school clothes
But my days, although mostly hazy,
Three, two, one here comes the hurricane babyYeah, identify, identify,
Yeah, identify, identify
Don't stand in line, identifyYeah, I bought the last plane ticket to the end of the world
Who ever says 'the good die young'?
All the boys are alive, all the boys are with girls,
Time to give 'em what they're waiting forIf the drugs don't work,
then you probably need more
If the drugs don't work,
then you probably need moreTime to give 'em what they're waiting forYeah, identify, identify
Yeah, identify, identify
Don't stand in line, no don't stand in line
Identify, identifySome things are out of my hands

X-Ray Spex are an English punk band from London that formed in 1976. The original line-up featured singer Poly Styrene (born Marion Elliot-Said) on vocals, Jak Airport (Jack Stafford) on guitars, Paul Dean on bass, Paul 'B. P.' Hurding on Drums, and Lora Logic (born Susan Whitby) on saxophone. This latter instrument was an atypical addition to the standard punk instrumental line-up, and became one of the group's most distinctive features.
