I'll Be Dreaming Lyrics

Advisory - the following lyrics contain explicit language:
So I've come to this final
Conclusion, I will not wait around
For you to break my heart again
Now I understandWhat a fool I've been, I will forgive you but
You know I can't forget becauseI'll be dreaming of the nights
When I would lie awake and stare into
The light behind your eyes, I have run into
The trap you set before me, blind
And now my love cannot seem to hideAnd now I sit and talk through all the confusion
I cannot now remember who the hell I am

You're not the only one who created an illusion
I knew I'd find my place in timeI'll be dreaming of the nights
When I would lie awake and stare into
The light behind your eyes, I have run into
The trap you set before me, blind
And now my love cannot seem to hideI'll be dreaming of the nights
When I would lie awake and stare
Into the light behind your eyes
I have run intoThe trap you set before me, blind
And now my love cannot seem to hide

The Pierces, sisters Allison and Catherine, are a pair of singer-songwriters based in New York City (by way of Birmingham, Alabama and Nashville).

Former ballerinas turned songstresses, they released their self-titled debut in 2000 with Epic. The album was met with lukewarm reception, but the girls were undeterred. After moving to New York, they released Light Of The Moon with Universal in 2005, with similar luck. After leaving the label and their manager to make some serious changes, they recorded their third album with producer Roger Greenawalt and after having opened a week's worth of shows for Albert Hammond Jr. [Catherine Pierce's fiancee] in November 2006, the girls were greeted with much more enthusiastic reception and excellent press.

Thirteen Tales of Love and Revenge was released in April 2007.

The Pierces recently gained even more press when they were featured on the December 5th episode of the hit TV show, "Gossip Girl".

However, despite Catherine's high-profile celebrity romance with the Strokes guitarist, Albert Hammond Jr., the increased publicity didn't translate into sales.

According to the You'll Be Mine Songfacts, the siblings were on the verge of calling it a day when a friend of theirs, Coldplay bassist Guy Berryman, offered to produce them. The result was The Pierces fourth album, You & I, their first release after signing to Polydor.
