Illusion - Danja Atari

Danja Atari is the newest phenom of the Tengu Basement. In the hip-hop and electro-underground scene the name Tengu has become a Ruhrpott-Tradition. One of the multifaceted projects of the Basement nowadays is Danja Atari, who performs in her unique style. Born and raised in Berlin, Danja moved to the Ruhr District in 1995 where she discovered The Basement and they discovered her. She is part Tunisian, part French, but mostly German, perhaps explaining the exotic sound of the young and charming singer Danja, a world traveler with culturally diverse experiences.
